Auction cars are sold on Lien paperwork from the State of Nevada . Goodbuy Auto Auction will send the buyer a Certification of Lien Sale and will send the Nevada DMV the lien packet. The Nevada DMV will, in turn, mail a Nevada title for the car to the buyer. This is a time-consuming process. At present, this takes abou t 8-to 10 weeks . This varies seasonally depending on the personnel at DMV in the past, it has taken four to six months.
Caution: The buyer has three working days to remove the car he has purchased. If not we will charge a storage fee of $30 per day . We are affiliated with an auto transport company, which will arrange to have the car transported to your location of choice. Contact them by requesting a quote on line at http://www.unitedroadlogistics.com/open/enter_quote.mcgi or calling toll free 866-470-0036. We can also transport from three to five cars on a single car transporter within the Southwest area. For quotes, call (702) 335-2703.
Once you register and get a bidder number you accept legal responsibility to pay for any vehicle sold to you, NO EXCHANGES REFUNDS OR EXCUSES OF ANY KIND!
All vehicles are offered as is where is and becomes the property and responsibility of the bidder at the time of sale. There are no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. We will try to provide a description of the damage and condition of the vehicle but we miss many things. These vehicles have been abandoned by their owners for some reason, keep that in mind while bidding. Since this is a lien sale the state does not require us to make the cars pass smog of any kind and the majority do not! All sales are final.
Caution #2: Occasionally (about one in five hundred), the Nevada DMV discovers that the car we sold at Lien is "stolen". In that case, we will need it back for a "recovery". This is the only time a refund of purchase price and fees will be given. We will not reimburse for transportation or car repairs. If you plan to sell the car, you must wait until the title from Nevada DMV arrives. If you plan to repair or fix up the car, we recommend you wait for the title to arrive first.
Bidding Procedures . In order to receive a Bidder Number you must call 702-649-6808- and talk to Victor Alvarado, Kurt Brunner or Trisha Weller . A credit card is required.
